Born in Washington, D.C., raised in Toledo, Ohio, and currently residing in Miami Beach, FL, Runa Lucienne is a Guyanese and African-American model, actress who has appeared in numerous television shows, music videos, magazines, and national ad campaigns.
Runa Lucienne became the first African-American Playboy Bunny to work at the Playboy Club Macao and has made promotional appearances on behalf of Playboy, including being a featured guest on Sirius/ XM's Playboy Radio Morning Show. Runa is known for her role on Project Runway, as Keith Bryce's model who left the competition and returned in the finale to walk at New York Fashion Week for Suede, another Project Runway designer. She is also known as the Runner-Up to Miss New York USA, and a social media influencer.
Runa has been featured on television shows including Project Runway, How I Met Your Mother, Sons of Anarchy, Tosh.0, Real Husbands of Hollywood, KTLA Morning News, and others. She has appeared in numerous music videos including “Don’t Judge Me” by Chris Brown, “We Got Hood Love” by Mary J. Blige ft. Trey Songz , and “Falling in Love” by Taio Cruz. She has also been featured in various magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan, King, Slam, Jewel, and Jamrock. Her national ad campaigns include Mandee clothing store, Outre, Regis Hair Salons, and others.
Runa Lucienne became the first African-American Monster Energy Girl, making appearances on behalf of Monster Energy Drink at various DUB Auto Shows, and special events including autograph signings at Army/ Air Force bases Ft. Hood and Ft. Bliss.
You may have seen Runa as the face of Outre’s new Rose by Velvet hair campaign, a number of national commercials including Footlocker and Adidas' "Ghost Hunter" commercial starring Dwight Howard, Petco’s Think Adoption commercial featuring the cast of Animal Practice, on television shows including Tosh.0, and at the Monster Energy Lounge at DUB Auto Shows across the country.
Besides modeling and acting, Runa studied mechanical engineering, and has worked for NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX in the Systems Architecture and Integration division. Lucienne’s hobbies include studying art, painting, graphic design, fashion, sports, technology, and food.
